You see how these shoes' style is called the "CORINETTE" style, right? The style of the shoe is like this (pictures taken from ALDO website):
The name of the shoes are under their picture. So the shoes that I got are the same style as the shoes I just showed above, as the BLYE and the tan/silver CORINETTE shoes. What I wanted was the shoes that were from the picture on the website of the black CORINETTE style shoes, which were these:
(link to these HERE)
If you just glance from one picture to the other, you can tell that the picture of the black CORINETTE style shoes has a longer lip than the other colors/the BLYE style. I wasn't sure why the black CORINETTE style shoe on the website has a different picture than the other colors, but I did like the longer-lipped style much better (although I didn't end up getting it).
I know for sure that the shoes I purchased were the style with the shorter lip, because after I got home, I began comparing the shoes I got to the shoes I saw online. The woman at ALDO began getting really frustrated with me when I began arguing that the shoes on the website were not the same, and told me that the shoes I ended up purchasing and the shoes on the website were the "exact same".
(My shoes are the same style as these tan-colored ones)
So I color-coded the differences I painted on the picture to make them easier to point out:
RED- On the side of the shoes, where the lip meets the side, the CORINETTE style has 7 studs while the longer-lipped style has 10.
YELLOW - On the part of the lip with the most studs, the CORINETTE style has 7 studs, while the longer-lipped style has 10 (thus making the lip longer)
GREEN - There is one stud on the lip from the indent (?) on the CORINETTE style shoe, while there is 3 on the longer-lipped style.
BLUE - I can't be sure, but the length of the lip from the indent just looks longer on the style on the right.
So my main point is, I really wanted the longer-lipped style on the black CORINETTE shoe I saw online, but the shoe itself isn't the same shoe as the picture, so the website is either misleading or has a mistake that needs to be fixed.
I still have these, but I wish the picture didn't make me look forward to getting the other shoe.
